Gear out of the same years
This old Lanz tractor is out of the same year as my old Leica IIIf. It is a nice feeling to see that this old stuff is working well because it is extremly well made quality. The details are very fine and it is crazy how sharp the old Summitar 50 f2 is in the centre at f 5,6. The film I have used was an Ilford FP4 125. My scanner is a Epson SU 1260 with silver fast 6.6 SE.
I shoot film now
Hi guys. Last week I bought some Tri X films and made some shoots with the Leica IIIf. Changing the film is a bit quirky but it slows down. With my new scanning software silver fast 6.6 the scans are far better that with the Mac osx Software digital picture. For the next weeks I will only shoot film.
Leica IIIf
Das fotografieren mit meiner alten Leica IIIf hat etwas genial entspannendes. Die Ruhe die vom gesamten Prozess ausgeht wird sicher auch wieder viele digital Fotografen zurück zur Basis bringen, davon bin ich überzeugt. Die schwarz weiss Fotografie ist an Ausdruck nicht zu übertreffen und ich glaube dass auch noch zur heutigen Zeit Henri Cartier Bresson mit einer analogen Leica fotografieren würde. Dieses Bild wurde mit einem Ilford HP4 gemacht.
